Why do I need Filord?
The program allows you to carry out various processing activities for two files concurrently: to compare them, search by specified criteria, modify data. The product’s application realm is unlimited. Use it if you need to find differences between two table files, find data in a long list in accordance with a specified parameters, to find out if there are any duplicates, show totals or modify in any way your data.
What files can I compare?
Any table files, brought to xls format. For more details, refer to Requirements for the Initial Files section in the program Help.
In what form will I get the results?
The processing results always have a table format with a structure identical to the initial file. In some instances, an additional column may be added (depends on the function selected). The data is allowed to be stored as an xls file for your further reference (available for registered users).
What are the trial version limitations?
In the trial version, you may use the full range of program features however, processing results will be available only for viewing on the screen and cannot be saved as files for further work. Please refer to Registration Information section in the program Help.
Can I work with only one file?
Yes. In this case functions for two-files processing will be unavailable.
I work with a program, which generates it's own internal reports. Can I use Filord for it?
In most cases yes. Refer to Requirements for the Initial Files section in the program Help.
What is MID?
MID is a Machine Identification Number. This is a unique number generated by Filord program based on your personal computer configuration. Please provide us with your MID number to register a copy of the program installed on your computer (a unique license key will be sent to you to unlock the program). Please refer to Registration Information section in the program Help.
Attention: upon changing of your computer configuration (installation and removal of various devices, such as video card, modem, etc.) MID number will change its value and the license key will no longer work. In this case you will need to provide us with the initial registration information to obtain the key again (free of charge).
